Terms of Use
Last updated: 9/6/2025
By using the Jain Religion Center of Wisconsin (“we,” “us,” or “our”) website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this site. These terms are intended to support a respectful, safe community experience.
Community Purpose
This website exists to share temple news, schedules, programs, and resources with our members and the wider Jain community. We may post announcements, photos, reminders, and event details to help keep the community informed and connected.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use this site for unlawful purposes or to submit harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
- Respect the privacy of others; do not post personal information about others without permission.
Content, Schedules & Photos
We strive for accuracy, but event schedules and details may change. Photos and updates may appear on our website, in email newsletters, or in community channels (e.g., Facebook, WhatsApp). If you wish a photo removed, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to take it down (copies already shared may still exist). See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, all content on this website (including text, photos, graphics, and our temple logo) is the property of the Jain Religion Center of Wisconsin. You may view and print content for personal, community, or educational use, but you may not copy, modify, or redistribute it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Any trademarks, service marks, or logos used on this site remain the property of their respective owners.
External Links
This website may link to third-party sites (for example, PayPal, Zelle, Facebook, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of those external sites. Use them at your own discretion and review their policies directly.
Donations & Refunds
Donations support temple activities and are generally non-refundable. If you believe an error occurred (such as a duplicate or incorrect amount), please reach out through the Contact form and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it. Please note that if a payment is accidentally sent to the wrong PayPal or Zelle account (outside of our official temple accounts), we may not be able to recover those funds since they never reach us. We encourage donors to double-check recipient details before submitting payments.
No Warranties
We provide this site on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we do our best to keep information current and the site operating, we make no warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) this site, including reliance on schedules or content, site outages, or third-party links. Your sole remedy is to stop using the site.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
